•Go to a drive-in movie theater (yes, they still exist, and they are awesome).
•Have a miracle berry tasting party, either as a couple or in a group.
•Do a reverse dinner date - drinks, then a dessert bar, then dinner.
•Go bowling, ice skating, rollerblading, mini golfing, or some other lame activity that everyone secretly enjoys.
•Make dinner together, starting with picking a recipe and going grocery shopping.
•This is more of an activity than a formal date, and it can depend on the couple, but I love wandering around bookstores with my boyfriend.
•Build a blanket fort. Then have sex in it.
Hiking. Preferably somewhere outside of cellphone range
•Climb a mountain, have a picnic.
•Wander around a used bookstore. Conversation will occur.
•Go play with animals at a shelter/pound.

Urban Climbing at night. Try to get to the top of the highest building you can find, lie to doormen, climb fire escapes. Main objective is get to a roof with a view. Bonus, it's kinda dangerous.
Night hikes are the best hikes.
Go to the farmers market, and make a meal from what you buy.
What's happening in the sky? Probably nothing, but if anything is happening in the sky (eclipse, full moon, meteor showers, jupiter, venus) go drive somewhere, set a blanket out and see it. SKY STUFF!
Bring supplies to any outside date. Easy picnic: baguette, cheese, 2 buck chuck, a wine opener, a knife (for the cheese...not for killing) and grapes. Put it in a 2 dollar canvas bag from the grocery store.
Free festivals and fairs all over the place, do an internet search, if there is one in the area go walk around them. Also, most cities have first fridays, second saturdays type events. They usually have free wine and open art galleries. My town has an eggplant festival. Sounds lame, but it's a great date. Go walk around it, and you get to buy food on sticks.
